Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members here at Blaney are involved in a variety of ministries, missions, and committees. See below how God can be using you in his church!

There is something here for you. Whether you want to find a place to serve or to be “fed,” there are plenty of opportunities for that to happen. We have Sunday School classes every Sunday morning where there will be a focus on discipleship and growing closer to God. All are welcome to either join or lead a class!
We also have ministry opportunities for children, youth, choir, a bus ministry for youth, nursery, senior adults, benevolence and bereavement ministries! Contact us if you would like to serve in any of these ministries!
Committees help the church function on a normal basis. In order to eliminate the idea that 20% of the people in a church do 80% of the work, a properly functioning committee will allow members to serve God’s Kingdom by serving His church.
A deacon will be placed as the chair of each committee and members of the church will make up the members of the committee.
We have committees for Stewardship, Personnel, Bylaws, Youth, Church Property (Building and Grounds, IT, Bus Maintenance), Cemetery, and Daycare.
Blaney Baptist Church is thrilled to be a part of God’s Kingdom. We seek to serve His Kingdom in both support and service.
Blaney Baptist supports Annie Armstrong North American Missions, Duffel Bags and Bibles for Foster Children, Janie Chapman State Missions, Lottie Moon International Missions, West Virginia Missions, a Back-to-School Drive and a Clothes Closet.
If you have any interest in serving in some capacity in these missions, do not hesitate to get plugged in by contacting us today!
